Blog 5: My Future Job

Blog 5: My Future Job My dream job is to work at Electronic Arts, particularly at the video game FIFA. I’m currently working for them via online giving them some reports and data about football teams of Chile and some of the Conmebol teams. But I would really love to being able to work in the any of the offices of EA. My preferences are the ones at United Kingdom or Mexico.  It’s mainly an office work, because you have to watch football matches of some teams and keep updated all the information that is necessary to the game. I have to write some of the reports in Spanish and others in English.  If I work there, the chances of travel to different places increase a lot. In some opportunities they hold meetings in other countries, or you have to approach negotiations in some key aspects of the game with big companies.  Even that, this could sound crazy because I’m studying journalism, but it really helps a lot to my dream job! Also, if I’m going to work in any other country,...

Blog 4: My Pet

Blog 4: My Pet. In my apartment in Santiago, I have two cats. Both of them were adopted at “La Vega” by my sister, she used to go there to buy food and some other stuff. In one of that shopping, someone asked if she know anyone that may take care of the cats, the girl who asked was expecting that my sister would recommend an organization or foundation for animals. But my sister immediately said she could adopt them. Now, they’re 3 years old. Their names are “Silvestre” and “Nara”. The first one is a male grey cat and he’s very, very big hahaha; but the second is so much small compared to Silvestre, and also, she’s more playful than him.  For my sister, Nara and Silvestre are really important, for some years were she’s company when she was by herself at Santiago. For me they’re important too, because brings joy and distraction in a city that I’m not that used to. They really can know how you feel! Both of them are awesome and I really love that my sister back in the day adopt them.

Post 3: The Best Song Ever

Post 3: The Best Song Ever It’s very difficult think about the best song ever, probably some people would say something like classic music (Mozart, Bach, etc.) because the composition and some factors that I don’t really know about. Other people may say a song from bands that were iconic in the history of the music industry like songs of Queen, The Beatles, etc.  But for me, the best song ever, isn’t really “the best song ever”, because it’s depends in the mood I’m currently on, and the knowledge of the proper music industry. I think I would never define the best song ever in terms strictly to composition, lyrics and all of the tech’s aspects of the music.  So, I will define the best song ever for me like the one which makes me bring back memories or make me feel emotions, mainly happiness or nostalgy about a certain moment of my life. The song is called “Mi Buenos Aires Querido” by Carlos Gardel.  Back in the day, my grandmother enjoyed a lot the genre of Tango, s...

Post N°2 The best Holidays/Concert ever

The best holidays I’ve ever go to, was probably the summer just before coronavirus arrives to my country, Chile. With a group of friends, we were talking and messing around with that silly idea of going to a beach to spend the last days of the summer, but in the beginning, it was only a joke, but later the joke turns down to be true.  There is where all started, then one of my friends checked on the app “Airbnb” for some place to stay in, literally, any beach of Chile. That’s how we end up renting a cabin in Pichilemu four days.  In the time that we were there, we go to the beach and the centre of the city. Also, we went to the disco and have a really fun time there.  The second day that we were there, someone -I don’t really remember who it was- calls other friends to come and stay the rest of the days with us in the cabin. At the final day we end up being 8 people in the house -obviously we ask the owner of the place if we can bring more people to the house-.  It w...

A COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT

Imagen
England My dream is travel to the “old continent”, particularly to England because I’ve always thought, since I was a little kid, that England and the United Kingdom is a very varied country in culture, landscapes, sports and art.  England is a country that is part of the United Kingdom. England is separated from continental Europe by the North Sea to the east and the English Channel to the south. England's terrain is chiefly low hills and plains, especially in central and southern England. The capital of England is London. With over 53 million inhabitants, England is by far the most populous country of the United Kingdom, accounting for 84% of the combined total. I really hope one day I can visit the country, my plans for that occasion is to go to the most football fields that I can possibly go, also visit museums and enjoy the points of tourist interest. I really would like to study and work there someday. I may have an occasion to work there, I’m doing everything that’s p...
